A media event usually begins with an original
idea, often dreamed up to help promote a product
or service - but that's usually just the start.
Next, you'll need to decide your budget then
how many to invite, how you're going to pique
their interest and how you're going to get them
there. You may need to recruit external contractors
or agencies to help and to cover off photography,
catering or transport - and all that before you
even start on the obligatory press pack.
